"KELO" is wood produced in the Lapland region, which is located in the Arctic Circle in Finland.
Among them, KELO is a tree that is over 200 years old (it takes 23 years to grow 1 cm) and has withered.
It is dense and hard, has a moisture content of 5-10%, and hardly deforms due to humidity.
In addition, it has excellent heat insulation to separate Finnish 100°C sauna indoors and -40°C outdoor environments, and is characterized by a very mellow scent.
For this reason, KELO is also called a jewel of wood, and the production volume is very small even in Finland, and saunas using KELO have become a status.

When using "KELO" material, rosin and cracks will inevitably occur.
"KELO" is over 200 years old and has withered, but the wood breathes, and when used in a sauna, rosin will come out from the knots over time.
Although it is fine pine resin, it is sticky to the touch.
We import parts that do not produce rosin as much as possible, but we cannot say that there is no rosin.
This is also the real pleasure of the KELO sauna, but it is not recommended for those who cannot tolerate it. Please understand this before placing an order.
