GYROFOCUS
| Gyro Focus
Created by Dominique Imbert in 1968, the Gyrofocus was the first suspended 360° rotating fireplace. As well as its innovative design, its thermal efficiency is outstanding from a technical point of view, and even now, more than 50 years after its birth, it remains a representative model and symbol of Focus.
Exhibited at the Bordeaux Museum of Modern Art (1996), the National Museum of Contemporary Art Grenoble (1997), and the Guggenheim Museum in New York (1998), its design and functional beauty have been highly acclaimed.
In 2009, at the Italian design competition "Pulchra", 74,425 people voted online, and Gyro Focus won first place as "the most beautiful object in the world" out of 100 designer objects.
It can be said that it is a work of art that excels not only in presence but also in warmth.
